A Quick Guide to Adaptation Planning for Natural Resources Professionals

Description

This Guide outlines the key steps for natural resource professionals to begin designing and implementing adaptation actions in their work.

This guide draws on the five-step Adaptation Workbook process designed by the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science to help professionals consider how climate change will affect their lands. By intentionally considering the potential impacts, challenges, and opportunities from climate change, the guide helps managers identify actions that enable ecosystems to cope with stressors and adapt to changing conditions, while also addressing their conservation priorities.
