U.S. Landslide Inventory and Susceptibility Map

Landslide susceptibility models analyze different terrain features to show where landslides are more or less likely to occur. These maps are useful for land-use planning and reducing risks, and some have been created for some areas in the U.S. and its territories where landslides are a major concern, including in Oregon, eastern Kentucky, and Puerto Rico.
